Romeo and Juliet

This spring, Castor will be directing Romeo and Juliet at Ohio University.

The capriciousness of young love tangled up in desire heightens an ancient family feud. We all know how the story ends, but every time we hope for something different. We hope the adults act maturely, we hope the youths behave patiently, we hope for a happy ending. Through some of the most beautiful text ever put to page in the English language, we will endeavor to see that hope through, to the bitter end.

Performances of Romeo and Juliet are 16-18 April 2026, in the Hahne Theatre in Athens, OH. Ticket information coming March 2026.
