Castor graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a B.A. in Classical Studies, Religious Studies, and Theatre Arts. Castor has taken courses with Theatrical Intimacy Education, SITI Company Alumni Network, and the Clown School of San Fransisco. Castor is certified in Mental Health First Aid and CPR/First Aid.

Castor is currently pursuing an MFA in Directing and an MA in Creative Writing (Fiction) at Ohio University.
